Project

The project aims to provide technical assistance and business skills development to SMEs operating in the flower sector, in Asian target countries–enabling them to use best practices, achieve international EUREP Certification and to improve European market access, facilitating direct business cooperation between Europe and Asia and integration into Information Society.

The main objective of the project is to promote and increase international commercial exchange range in the flower-breeding field, creating favourable conditions and supplying the countries partners of this project of the instruments needed. The aim is to make direct cooperation among intermediaries easier with a wide regional dimension, European and Asian, integrating partners and SMEs in a business-oriented information and communication technologies context.

During a series of meetings, that will allow staff exchange between partners and SMEs, seminars, workshops and training will take place to realize an exchange of expertise and best practices related not only to production techniques but also to commercialisation and organisation of flower-growing realities.

A multimedia platform will support the realization of an helpdesk managed by project participants, that remaining active after the end of the project will continue the activities of support and information exchange with foreign companies and business intermediary organisation which will be interested in commercial exchanges or bilateral relationships between Asia and Europe.
